Safeguarding

At Hartford American school, safeguarding is our highest priority. We are fully committed to creating a safe, secure, and supportive environment where every child feels protected, respected, and valued.

Safeguarding means protecting children from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation, while promoting their overall well-being. All staff members are trained to recognize concerns, respond appropriately, and follow clear procedures to ensure every child’s safety.

We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that all safeguarding concerns are handled promptly, sensitively, and effectively. Our school follows policies and guidelines to ensure the welfare of every student.

Students are encouraged to speak up and share any worries or concerns. We promote a culture of openness, trust, and respect so that every child knows they are listened to and supported.

Together, we aim to provide a safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive with confidence.
