The first formal schooling stage is vital in preparing children to be lifelong learners. Children learn to read, write, explore and develop knowledge, understand concepts, apply skills and incorporate values that are essential for learning.
HAS teachers use a variety of inquiry based and hands on experiences to encourage the students to be creative, express ideas and opinions and become independent learners. Along with academic development, HAS also looks into the emotional development of the students by inculcating the values of the school.
